"Stepping into September"
Hello everyone! As summer is coming to an end and school is starting back up again, I pray that this email finds you very blessed and not too stressed. : ) I know we all have a lot going on right now as well as much ahead of us. May God give us peace and strength to walk in grace, fulfill all that we need to and be anxious for nothing... though it is sometimes not so easy! I think of the scripture that says, “Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Ahhhh… that is good. In God’s truth, I rest. He is the only one that can truly keep our minds at rest. For the past few weeks, Brett and I have been going through transition as we move our home base from Nashville to FL. We have a new PO Box address, which is: Kathleen Carnali Ministries, PO Box 8892, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34985. Beginning in September, we hit the road once again and head to the Northwest. I’ll be leading worship this Sunday at Morningside Church in PSL, FL, after that we fly out to Utah and have a concert in Salt Lake City and then we head further up north for a Woman’s Retreat in Idaho. You can see more details and dates on the Tour calendar at the website. A scripture that has been stirring strong in my heart this week is, Micah 6:8, “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God…” So as we step into September, may we be reminded of this verse and be purposeful to hide it in our hearts, and live what it says.
We are so grateful for your mercy upon us LORD. We humble ourselves before you now, and pray that your truth, justice, grace, hope and charity would pour over us, work through us and rest upon us… as we rest upon you.
We love you!! : )
In Jesus’ Awesome Name,
~Kathleen

"An Amazing 5 Months!"
After a long and amazing five months on the road, we are finally back home in Nashville! We have ministered all across the country from as east as Massachusetts to as west as California and even Hawaii. We had an awesome time ministering up in Canada as well. In the past five months, we have seen so many people come to trust in the LORD for salvation and repent from their sins. Lately, I’ve been reading in the Word where it gives us such powerful examples of this. In the book of Acts, we see how the Apostles, over and over again, would go and preach repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. We’ve also received more emails and testimonies of lives continuing to be transformed by the power of the Gospel. This is so exciting, because it’s the evidence and fruit of true salvation rather than just a one-time experience. I am overwhelmed and so deeply thankful for all that we have been able to see and be a part of. And yet, with all of this, I know that there is so much more. This is only the beginning of what God has in store for us and for all those that love him and are called according to his purpose. It is time to get ready, for the Day of the Lord is at hand and there is even much more to be done. If you read my last newsletter, I had mentioned how this is a year of great change and repositioning for God’s people. Though it may be a very difficult season for some, I know that as we press on, we will continue to see even more victories, powerful testimonies, and people saved through the resurrecting power of Christ! Trust me, the best is yet to come! Brett and I will soon be moving our ministry base out of Nashville to the east coast - in a place called Port Saint Lucie, FL. The LORD has been sending me rivers of new songs as well! Within the next few months, it will be time to go back into the studio to begin recording for the next CD. We are so excited about all that God is doing and humbled that he uses vessels like us. What an amazing privilege we all have. If you aren’t doing anything for the Lord, I encourage you that the time is now. God has equipped you for a purpose. If you are still waiting for assignment, be sure to study to show yourself approved and remain faithful to him in all ways, so you can be trusted with so much more. May we take advantage of what time we still have to make an impact for the Kingdom of God and bring glory to HIS Name. One day we will stand before him and give testimony. What will we say?

...found this on YouTube.
A general market Magazine and Music Show came out to do an interview with me at a fair I recently played at in Junction City, Kansas. Sorry for all the background noise. It was taken in the Green Room where you can hear the sounds of Big Daddy Weave playing from stage. Here are links for each video taping of the interviews that you can see:

I encourage you to go back and re-read the whole book of Acts, to challenge you and prepare you for what is to come. Here is an excerpt from Paul when speaking about the challenges and tribulations that he would be facing. He says, "...None of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God."
The only way to be unmoved by the things of this world, is to be dead to them. This is what is means to live a crucified life. Only until we die to the cares and lusts of this world, can we walk in the newness and power of the resurrected life with great victory! May we stay focused on the course set before us, counting our lives but loss for the sake and glory of the cross! I love you guys so much... hope to see you soon!
All love in Jesus,
~Kathleen
"Time to Live"
I remember back at the beginning of January, God gave us a word that this would be a year of change and transition. It is a year of new beginnings for many and also of repositioning, to prepare us for a new season ahead. We are seeing this in our own lives as well as in many others. I am happy to announce that our drummer Stevie is getting married this month. Also, our other drummer Joe recently found out that he and his wife are having another baby. Congratulation you guys!! : ) Other friends of ours, who are truly like family to us, have recently had to bare the loss of their loved one. We mourn with you and will continue to be praying for your comfort. Through our joys and through our sorrows, God is there, rejoicing with us and grieving with us. In Christ, we are never left alone, because we have the great Comforter who is the Holy Spirit with us. Be encouraged, God is repositioning you to do even greater works for his Kingdom and glory.
After coming up the east coast, we are now in New England. I will be ministering this Sunday morning in Plymouth, MA at New Hope Chapel (83 Court St.) at 10:15 AM. Then on June 13th we’ll be in Fitchburg, MA at Horizon Christian Fellowship (356 Broad St.) for the two morning services at 8:45AM & 11:00AM. I will also have a concert there at 6:00PM the same night. Hope to see you!
Before I go, I am leaving you with the chorus of a new song that the Lord sent me just a little over a week ago. Sorry about the out of tune piano, it’s all I had to sit at today. May this encourage and strengthen you, as you transition and prepare for what God has planned for you next.

Let me die, so I may live
Take this life, it’s all I have to give
Cause only you can save this soul
Resurrect me, make me whole
Resurrect me, I’m yours alone
“…I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things… that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.” (Philippians 3:8-11)
Resurrect us LORD, that we may live for your glory!
As old things are past away, behold You make all things new…
All Love In Jesus
Christ our LORD,
~Kathleen
"ALOHA!"
ALOHA! We are back from our ministry trip in Hawaii and have since been touring up and down the West coast. We just had some powerful nights of worship in Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo, CA! Here is our schedule for the rest of this week:
Wednesday April 28th in Shasta Lake, CA @ 7:00PM - Thursday April 29th in McArthur, CA @ 7:00PM - Friday April 30th in Sacramento, CA @ 7:00PM - Saturday May 1st in Sacramento, CA @ 7:00PM
I have a little surprise for you. : ) I brought back a new instrument from Hawaii! As you know, piano is definitely my first instrument. But lately, I have been praying to God about teaching me to play something that is easily portable and works in places with no electricity, etc. I originally thought guitar would work best, but my hands are so little and the guitar is so big. Well... I think God finally gave me my match. Since about a week and a half ago, I have been having so much fun with my new blessing. So, I just made a video with some wonderful friends of mine here in California to share it with you! Sorry that there are quite a few takes. You’ll understand why when you see it. : )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fbpZ30JczY
Well, I must go now! We have to head up to Shasta Lake and get ready for tonight. May God bless you and fill you with gladness as you rejoice in the amazing love of our awesome Savior Jesus Christ!
“But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” (Psalm 5: 11-12)
Truly Singing
Of His Love forever,
~Kathleen ; )
"CANADA"
We just got back to the States after an amazing time in Canada! While there, we got to drive through the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains, stand in the biggest Tepee in the World and even go curling!! : ) And I have to say, it is a lot harder than it looks! You can see all the pictures and more at my website or on Facebook. The band flew out and met Brett and I in Calgary, Alberta. The ministry in Medicine Hat was awesome! We did two concerts, two services and also had the chance to do some witnessing in the streets. There was a young twenty-year old guy we met, who told us that he didn’t believe in God and thought that when we die we turn back into energy, etc... As we shared the Gospel with him, the Holy Spirit began to move powerfully and the Word of God pierced his heart. He went from completely rejecting the idea of God, to asking lots of questions. Well, he ended up coming to the concert and by the end of that night he had surrendered his life to Christ. The next morning he came back to the service and now has a Bible and is getting plugged in. Please say a prayer for him now for strength in Spirit, protection from evil, continued victory over sin and that Satan’s devices against him would not prevail! We thank you LORD for our new brother and rejoice with all that you are doing and are going to do! We just got to the state of Washington and have an exciting weekend ahead. We have concerts in the Longview area on March 26, 27 & 28th. On March 31st we will be in Forest Grove, OR. Then in April we will be ministering in Hawaii and all throughout California. You can see the Tour schedule at www.KathleenCarnali.com for more dates and details. We still have some open dates that will be filled, so be sure to check back again soon. Well, I have to go now and do some sound checking. : ) I love you guys and hope to see you very soon. Thank you again for your continued prayers and supplications for us. We can feel them. Keep praying for our Country too. May we be a praying people who are led by the Spirit of God, raising a standard in this generation and giving glory to His Name.
"So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:18-20)
For the Glory of His Name,
~Kathleen
“Psalm of David”

Hey guys! I am writing to you from Christ Haven Lodge, which is located near Pike’s Peak in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. I have been writing a lot since being here the past few days. It’s easy to be inspired in such a magnificent setting surrounded by Gods creation. This is the same place where I wrote, “Just Another Day,” “Start Over Again” and other songs of worship. Tomorrow night we have a concert in Colorado Springs at Rocky Mountain Calvary. I hope to see you if you are in the area! After we leave here, we will be ministering out in Salt Lake City, Utah and then in Rupert, Idaho. After that we will be driving all the way up to Medicine Hat in Alberta, Canada. You can always see the full Tour Schedule at the website and I will also be posting pictures of our trip every week so you can see where we are. If you happen to be on Facebook, be sure to connect with my music page where I will be posting updates and pictures very often as well. Here is my Facebook link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kathleen-Carnali/30401042112?v=wall&ref=mf
As I have been writing and spending time with the LORD, I’ve also been reading in the book of first Chronicles. Just recently I came to the place in scripture where they are taking the ark of God back to Jerusalem. There was so much singing, dancing, and playing of instruments before the LORD. It tells us in chapter 13 how, ”David and all Israel played before God with all their might…” They brought the ark of God into the tent, made burnt sacrifices and peace offerings and David the King blessed the people in the name of the LORD. I was encouraged and strengthened as I read a Psalm that David shared that day to give thanks to God. It really spoke to me and is my prayer as we continue this tour for the next 4 months. I am blessed to share it with you today and urge you to read this entire Psalm from 1 Chronicles 16:8-36. His Word is the food to our souls. May it birth something new, remind us of our calling and renew passion and love for our Savior, so that we, like David can make his great name and salvation known among people and worship Him with all of our might…!
“Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones. He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations; Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac; And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant, Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance; When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation. Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations. For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place. Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein. Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth forever. And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. Blessed be the LORD God of Israel forever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.”
Again we say Amen, all Praise be to our LORD!
In the Mighty Name of JESUS,
~Kathleen
"Our GOD Remains"
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! It was a beautiful white day here in Tennessee! I haven't seen snow like this all year, not to mention how super rare it is for Nashville! We just got back from an amazing trip to Florida where God poured out His Spirit in a powerful way... whew! We are now preparing for a long tour out west where we will be ministering on the road for about 4 months. You can keep up with us at my website and facebook fan page where I will be posting pictures and updates as often as I can. I think the prized picture from our last tour is the one where I encountered a peacock in the parking lot on my way to sound check! Haha... I guess you never know what's going to happen! Here are some dates at the end of February that you won't want to miss if you are close by.
Dates for February:
2/20/10 - Cheyenne, WY - Dangerous Prayer Woman's Conference - 9:00 AM
2/21/10 - Cheyenne, WY - Calvary Chapel Cheyenne - 9:00 AM
2/21/10 - Cheyenne, WY - Calvary Chapel Cheyenne - 11:00 AM
2/28/10 - Colorado Springs, CO - Rocky Mountain Calvary - 7:00 PM
In March we will be heading way up to Alberta Canada to minister for about a week, then back down to Washington, Oregon, California and so on... We covet your prayers for this trip and are so excited to watch what the LORD has already planned! Also don't forget to keep praying for Haiti. They are going through so much right now. About five years ago we had the chance to go to there and minister. The people were so hungry for Jesus and eager to know more about him. We went with a group of six friends and served through teaching and song as well as bringing food and supplies. But let me tell you, our brethren in Haiti had just as much as an impact on us as we did them. It wasn't long before we truly fell in love with the people there. Our hearts grieve for them in such a way right now I can't even express. As Brett was in prayer on their behalf, the Spirit of God brought a scripture to him. "Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High." (Psalm 46:2-4) When the whole world fails, our God remains. He is true and his love and mercy endures forever. For there is coming a day when God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Rev. 21:4) This is the LORD whom we serve, the God of our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Thank you Father... in you alone do we put our trust.
I love you guys. Keep on running strong, for our Lord is coming!
Hope to see you soon. All love and faith in our precious Jesus,
~Kathleen

"2010 Vision"
Only a few hours left until we ring in 2010! Happy New Year everyone! Brett and I are now on the road, headed to Cape Coral, Florida. : ) This past Sunday, Brett preached a message about having clear vision in 2010. It has since stuck with me and has become our hope and prayer for all of us as we move into the New Year. Have you ever gone to get your eyes checked? Brett and I share a very similar story from when we were younger. Both of our teachers noticed that we were struggling to read the chalkboard in school. For me, this was in the fifth grade. I remember my mom taking me to the eye doctor, and me hoping that I wouldn’t need glasses. Well sure enough, I did need them. I’ll never forget the first time I put them on. I couldn’t believe the details of people’s faces, how you could see all the green leaves individually on the trees, and how the stars were sharp pinpoints of light rather than fuzzy white circles. The thing is, before I put on those glasses, I had no idea that my vision was impaired. All I knew, was that my grades were suffering and I would come home from school with bad headaches. Yet, these were just symptoms of a much bigger problem. How many of us are stepping into the new year with signs that something deeper is wrong? Have we looked to God for vision? Are our eyes in God’s Word, the Light to our path, so we may see and walk clearly? Or have our eyes been darkened by sin? The Bible tells us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”(Proverbs 29:18) So as I say Happy New Year, my prayer for you is clear vision in the New Year of 2010! If you have ever been to the eye doctor like me and have tried reading that chart that they have on the wall, usually you feel like you are doing pretty well if you can read the line of letters that are fourth from the bottom of the chart. This means that you have 2020 vision. Unfortunately, I wasn’t even close. F’s, H’s and E’s all looked the same to me, lol! What you may not know, is that if you can read the next line down on the chart, than you have what is called 2015 vision, which is even better! But if you look even closer, there is another line below this one that most people don’t pay as much attention to. If you can read this, than your vision is not only extraordinary, but super exceptional and very rare. This is called 2010 vision! So may we seek God for this 2010 vision in the New Year to come, walking in faith and always keeping our eyes fixed on the author and finisher of our faith, the LORD Jesus Christ.
All Love in Him,
~Kathleen
"Jesus: The Greatest Part!"
Hello everyone! I hope that you and yours had a wonderful weekend of Thanksgiving! There truly is so much to be thankful for. Brett and I ended up at Mimi’s Café for dinner to celebrate. Though we couldn’t be home with family or friends this year, we had an awesome day reflecting on what God has done and spent time praying and seeking Him on all that is to come. I especially thank God for Jesus, today and everyday! We are now finally home in Nashville. It feels like forever since we’ve been here. I just got pictures up on the website from our trip to Europe. Hope you enjoy them! Here is a link to the photo album, “On the Road 2009.” http://web.mac.com/carnabel/Site/Photos/Photos.html
Throughout the whole month of December only, we have a Special offer at www.KathleenCarnali.com. Buy any 2 CD’s, and we will add to that a new Dangerous Prayer CD for FREE! This is our gift to you and also a great way to say thanks for all of your love and prayers as we have been traveling and sharing the Gospel around the world. We love you guys so much and hope it is a blessing to you!
As November ends and we step into December, let’s continue on with full hearts of thanksgiving and praise to our awesome God! In this season, it is so easy to get caught up with all that we have to do. Even as I type now, the Lord brings to mind Martha and what Jesus showed her… “Now it came to pass, as they went, that he (Jesus) entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.“ In this season of celebration, may we be careful to choose the most important part, Jesus. And may the world know us by our love and devotion to our Lord and our love for each other …never being ignorant of Satan’s devices to separate, alienate and divide us from the flock, which is the body of Christ. Our precious Jesus is the Great Shepherd who loves us and gave his life for us. May we hear his voice and follow him together with passion, commitment and love.
“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.“ (Hebrews 13:20-21)
And Amen!! Be so blessed my friends and hope to see you soon!
All my love in Christ,
~Kathleen
"Our Trip to Europe!"
Hello from Europe! At the moment, we are traveling through the Netherlands and are on our way to London, England. This past month has been absolutely amazing. We have gotten the chance to see many sights, meet so many people and best of all minister the gospel of Christ. Since being here, we have traveled to a total of eight countries in the past four weeks. It was a lot of fun trying to communicate in so many different languages. Thankfully, people understand English pretty well in most areas. But there were a few places, especially when outside the larger cities when it wasn’t quite so easy. While in France, we found a little French Creperie to eat breakfast at. I was sooo excited because crepes are one of my favorite foods to eat. As I looked around the restaurant, I saw people eating crapes with all different kinds of toppings and fillings. My eyes got very big. : ) We put our order in and I waited gleefully with anticipation. As Brett and I talked over the afternoon plans, I noticed our waiter making a huge, and I mean huge, chocolate ice cream sundae in the kitchen. I remember thinking to myself, "Who in the world would order all that heavy chocolate ice cream for breakfast?!" Then I said to Brett, "How funny would it be to order something completely wrong for breakfast, because we couldn't read the menu?" We both chuckled and continued on with our conversation. Soon after, the waiter comes over and puts a big plate in front of Brett with a huge delicious crape on it with all the fixings. Yes, this was what I was waiting for! Then the waiter leans over and places a giant ice cream sundae in front of me, dripping with chocolate sauce and all. I couldn’t believe it! Brett couldn’t stop laughing. Any other time this may have been a pleasant surprise. Any other time but this! Then I find out, not only did I order an ice cream sundae for breakfast, but I somehow managed to order two of them! Ha, ha… Now I understood why the waiter gave me an interesting look back when I ordered. I just thought that maybe my French was bad. Well, evidently it was. So I grinned at the waiter, said "merci", picked up my spoon and had my breakfast.
We have had lots of laughs over the past four weeks, but truly the most wonderful times have been seeing the tears of joy and repentance take place. All types of ministry opportunities opened up for us here. We had concerts at Community Centers, Army Bases, Churches, Youth Events, etc... Watching the Lord's hand at work since we've been here has been spectacular. It's hard to believe that only a few months ago I wrote telling you how we felt the Holy Spirit's pull to come here, and now it has been fulfilled and it's almost time to go home. God has continued to teach me even more about trusting and relying on him. I believe this trip really laid the foundation for lots more ministry time ahead. We will be leaving from London, England this week to fly back to the states. Though it is hard to leave, I am very much looking forward to returning home… home to America that is. I'm not sure yet when we will be back to Nashville. Keep us in prayer, as we will be praying about 2010 and all that the Lord has planned for us. Also, don’t forget to call your local Christian radio station and request "Dangerous Prayer (Rain On My Parade)" by, Kathleen Carnali. It is our brand new single that has just released to radio. Don’t forget, this song isn’t on any CD. So if you would like to listen or buy it you can download it for only .99 cents at iTunes or Amazon. Here are the links below…

Well, I better go now. It is getting late and we need to find a place to stay. I love you guys and hope to see you very soon. Keep on strong in the Lord Jesus Christ and be sure not to stagger at the promise of God through unbelief; but be strong in faith, giving glory to God. May we be fully persuaded that, what he has promised, he is able also to perform! Praise God!
Love, grace and peace be with you!
In Christ Alone,
~Kathleen
